How Brampton’s Jan 1st 2024 Rental Licensing Program Violated OHRC guidelines?

City of Brampton is promoting their hidden agenda under Rental Licensing. Hence City hall tried to add some clauses in licensing program which violate the human rights codes for landlord and tenants. For Obvious reasons, large commercial rooming rental building are coming in sometime, which are not controlled under RRL. In fact, the Rental Licensing Program is being used as a tool to shut down the small landlord rental market, so that bigger corporations can take advantage. It’s alarming how the political figures are trying to manipulate the media and promote their agenda without any questions being asked. In the Rental Licensing Program, introduced on January 1st, the city attempted to sneak in clauses that directly contravene the human rights codes for both landlords and tenants. These clauses, my friends, are concerning, to say the least. In this video I will help to highlight those clauses in the reference to Ontario Human Right guideline “Room for everyone: Human rights and rental housing licensing”. I hope our city will get some education from this video.
